My Role at Ablo
My role at Ablo was to add motion and animation to our user experience. I was fortunate to be able to work closely with our developers. We incorporate the power of React Native and Lottie into our development. I would provide a motion sample for the developers to follow the timing, easing and value of each property to ensure the best visual experience.

Ablo is not complete without its signature illustrations. Users can find animated illustrations all across the app. There are also Gifts in for users to send to each other. Each of them is an unique animation. It is sometimes challenging to make animation that fits across all devices. Therefore we have developed guidelines that ensure the best result.

Self-Expression
Ablo also offers a slew of self-expression features for users to customise their own profile in order to stand out from the crowd. Whether it is an animated entrance effect when you enter a Live Guides show, an Avatar Frame that wraps around your profile image, or a Profile Skin to beautify your personal page. There is something for everyone to choose from.

Ablo Streamer Cards
Streamers can create one-of-a-kind Ablo streamer cards. The cards can be put on the in-app marketplace for other users to collect and sell as they appreciate in value.
Live Guides
Users can engage in millions of livestreams, and even become the guest of the live shows. Or even become a streamer (aka Live Guide) themselves. Live Guides can also participate in exciting Live Parties and Live Battles with other steamers to see who can earn the most diamonds.
New Concepts and Ideas
Not only that, I get to brainstorm ideas with our talented product team to come up with new features. And FacePlay is one of the result. The UI designers and I worked closely to create the concept video for a product pitch. This feature is also available in the Ablo app.
