Typographic Poster Series – 人 (People)
This is a set of three experimental posters exploring the Chinese character "人," meaning "person" or "people." Created using an ink roller and manual printing techniques, each poster reflects a shift in meaning—from solitude to unity—through composition and language.
The work is a visual and linguistic play on the Chinese phrase 人山人海 (“a sea of people”).

Poster 1
“One person is a lonely, broken cliff.”
A single "人" figure, standing alone in a vast space—fragile and isolated.

Poster 2
“Two people can form a mountain.”
A pair of "人" working together—stronger, elevated, and grounded.

Poster 3
“A group of people becomes an endless wave.”
Multiple "人" shapes flowing together like a stream—symbolising movement, energy, and collective strength.
“Don’t sit on your lonely cliff, staring at that mountain and those rivers.”
